Rideshare Program
The Governing Board
recognizes that vehicle emissions contribute significantly to air pollution. To
reduce such emissions, the Board strongly encourages employees, students and
community members to car pool, bicycle, or use public transportation whenever
possible.
The Superintendent or
designee shall develop a rideshare program which includes:
1. Incentives to encourage
employee participation; and
2. A plan by which employees
who car pool or use alternative modes of transportation will be guaranteed a
ride home in the event of illness or a severe crisis.
