SCORING:  You must have an average standard score of 450 for the five tests with no single score less than 410 and a total score of 2,250 or greater.  The tests are standardized nationally on graduating high school seniors.  You will receive your certificate from the state approximately 8 weeks after successful completion of all 5 tests.

RE-TESTS:  You may only test, in each subject, 3 times in one calendar year (January 1st through December 31st).  If you do not pass, another form of the test will be issued.  The retest fee is $25.00 and allows you to re-test in a single subject once or to re-take the complete battery once.

All candidates will be required to wait for a period of three (3) months before taking the second retest and all subsequent retests.  The only exceptions will be candidates enrolled in a GED Testing Preparation class, who have passed the practice test and have written verification from their instructor prior to registering for the test.
