The SVCTE Fashion Design & Textile Art program collaborated with the Metals Technology program to create an “All About Us” informative holiday tree at Christmas in the Park in downtown San Jose! The vision was to create metal ornaments to highlight each of the pathways available at Silicon Valley Career Technical Education. This provides the public with an understanding of the many pathways that we offer and the impact that the school creates for youth as up-and-coming future professionals.

Visit the tree in downtown San Jose across from the entrance to the San Jose Fairmont Hotel!

Christmas in the Park started in the 1950s and last year had over 700,000 guests. The event is a family oriented Christmas tradition of lights, trees and exhibits in Downtown San Jose’s Plaza de Cesar Chavez. The park is open until December 25.
