Planting Beautiful Bulbs MAEP World Garden Workshop
Do you want to have a yard full of vividly colored flowers next spring? If so, now is the time to plan ahead and plant your fall bulbs. Learn about Planting Beautiful Bulbs at Metropolitan Adult Education Program's (MAEP) World Garden Workshop on November 6, at the Erikson Adult Education Center located at 4849 Pearl Avenue, San Jose.
Master Gardener Philippa Alvis will teach gardeners of all skill levels, when and how to plant beautiful blubs such as tulips, hyacinth, crocus, and narcissus. Colorful fall bulbs are planted now and bloom in the spring. Bulbs can be planted in containers and placed on your porch, deck or directly in your garden.
The free workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the MAEP Erikson Adult Education Center. Pre-registration is required! Seats fill up fast so call or email today!
To register for the free workshop, call 723-6450 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and ask to have your name added to the November World Garden Workshop list, or email your name and phone number to ritab@metroed.net.
