CCOC Offers Fast-Track Programs to Learn New Skills

Out of work? Need to learn or upgrade a skill? Want to start a business? Try one of Central County Occupational Center’s (CCOC’s) fast-track certificate programs. In just 4 ½ months, you could earn a certificate in Automotive Tune-Up & Electrical Systems, Interior Design, or Small Business Management!

Enroll Now and pay only $100 materials fee! Classes start on January 21, 2009 and end June 9, 2009. A certificate is granted upon successful completion of the course which includes attending class daily from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Automotive Tune-Up & Electrical Systems: Students study basic engine tune-up, troubleshooting and repair of fuel systems, electronic ignition and control systems.

Interior Design: Enjoy hands-on activities and on-the-job training in basic interior design through color, materials, furniture, lighting and scale drawings.

Small Business Management: Learn the basics of running a business, using Microsoft software. Work in Accounting, Humans Resources, Information Technology, or Sales & Marketing.
