Learn How to Prune Fruit Trees at the January MAEP World Garden Workshop

Learn how to Prune Fruit Trees at Metropolitan Adult Education Program’s (MAEP) World Garden Workshop on January 16, at the Erikson Adult Education Center located at 4849 Pearl Avenue, San Jose.

Master Gardener Allen Buchinski will teach gardeners of all skill levels how to prune different varieties of fruit trees. Buchinski specializes in pruning and works with the High Density Orchard at the Emma Prusch Farm Park.

The free workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the MAEP Erikson Adult Education Center, Auditorium.

To register for the free workshop, call 723-6450 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and ask to have your name added to the January World Garden Workshop list, or email your name and phone number to ritab@metroed.net. MAEP will be closed for the holidays from December 21 through January 1, 2010. Sign-up early, space is limited.
