MAEP's Growing Edible and Ornamental Alliums World Garden Workshop
Save money on vegetables by learning to Grow Edible and Ornamental Alliums at Metropolitan Adult Education Program’s (MAEP) World Garden Workshop on October 3, at the Erikson Adult Education Center located at 4849 Pearl Avenue, San Jose.
Master Gardener Susan Zaslaw will share her growing tips for beautiful edible and ornamental alliums! Learn how to select the best varieties for our area, how to prepare the soil, plant and harvest delectable onions and garlic from your own garden. The free workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at MAEP’s Erikson Adult Education Center.
To register for the free workshop, call 723-6450 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and ask to have your name added to the October World Garden Workshop list, or email your name and phone number to ritab@metroed.net. Sign-up early, space is limited.
