MAEP Offers New Dance Classes for Spring
Ever watch Dancing With The Stars and wish you could learn to dance the Tango, Rumba, and more? Now you can with Metropolitan Adult Education Program’s (MAEP’s) new dancing classes. Learn the Argentina Tango, Ballroom Dancing, or Club Salsa & Merengue.
MAEP’s new dance classes begin the week of April 21 and run through the week of June 9. All three classes will be held at the San Jose Dance Studio Center located at 1824 Hillsdale Avenue, San Jose. Pre-registration is required. The classes are for dancers of all skill levels!
The Argentina Tango is the original lead and follow dance that started the ballroom dance craze of the 1920’s. In Ballroom dancing, students will learn the Cha Cha, Waltz, Rumba, and Foxtrot. Dance the night away to Latin music in the Club Salsa & Merengue dance class. No dance experience or partners are needed for any of the classes. Or register with a partner for a night of fun and learning!
