MetroED Spring 2010 Registration Dates Announced

With the new year comes a new Metropolitan Education District class schedule! MetroED is home to both the Metropolitan Adult Education Program (MAEP) and Central County Occupational Center (CCOC).

MetroED’s Spring 2010 online registration begins January 11 for MAEP’s Community Interest Program (CIP) and Older Adult Program. Visit www.MetroED.net to register or view class descriptions. MAEP also offers courses for English as a Second Language (ESL), GED, Career Technical Education (CTE), and high school diploma as well as over 300+ online courses.

Registration for CCOC’s day classes begins January 12 at 9 am and at 5 pm for evening classes at 760 Hillsdale Ave., San Jose in Room 812. Day classes are open to high school students first and then adults. High school juniors and seniors should see their home high school counselor to register. More than 30 career paths are available including: Medical Assisting, Building Maintenance, Baking & Catering, and Solar Applications & Installation. Classes fill quickly so don’t delay!
