Get ready to rev your engines for the 18th Annual Bob McTaggart Custom & Classic Car Show, hosted by Silicon Valley Career Technical Education (SVCTE), from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. (gates open at 4:30 p.m. for car entries) on Friday, May 3 at the SVCTE campus located at 760 Hillsdale Avenue, San Jose, CA 95136.
This event calls for all car enthusiasts and proud owners of custom and classic marvels to showcase their passion and stand wheel-to-wheel with the best of the best. More than 1,000 spectators attend the annual event each year, and they get to vote on their favorites in nine categories: best car, best motorcycle, best bike, best car under construction, best truck, best club participation, ugliest car, best engine, and best paint job in the show.
Pre-register via Venmo @MetroED760 by April 24, and be sure to provide your name in the private message. You can also grab tickets at the gate, opening at 4:30 p.m. Car entries are $20, while spectators enjoy FREE admission.
In addition to showcasing impressive cars, this event also provides support for SVCTE’s student competition group SkillsUSA. Past events have raised over $10,000. Attendees can look forward to a fun-filled evening of raffles, prizes, delicious food, and music, all in the spirit of promoting educational excellence and building community unity.
