San Jose, CA - A handful of Silicon Valley Career Technical Education's Dental Assisting students has been announced as scholarship winners by the Santa Clara County Dental Society (SCCDS). This award was for a $1,000 scholarship from SCCDS and is applied to the school they decide to attend.
The scholarship recipients from SVCTE Dental Assisting are as follows:
These students were five of 17 winners that were selected from Santa Clara County Dental Society.
Dental assistants and dental hygienists are vital members of the SCCDS practice team. Not only are these scholarship funds helpful for the students, this gives SCCDS the opportunity to recognize the best and the brightest in allied dental health. SCCDS hopes to inspire those who are recognized, and to inspire their classmates to work hard enough to qualify for scholarships of this kind in the future.
Congratulations to the SVCTE's Dental Assisting program!
