Preparing Students to Thrive in College and Careers
Greetings!

As the first semester of the 2019-20 school year draws to a close, we are very proud of the work taking place in our programs at SVCTE and SVAE.

At SVCTE, our new student-run student store has been a huge success. Our Fire Science/First Responder program earned a California School Board Golden Bell Award, and the MetroED Foundation successfully launched GlobalGiving and AmazonSmile programs raising over $4,000.00 for SkillsUSA student competitions.

At SVAE, student enrollment continues to rise, the Testing Center is thriving, and Work2Future continues to help connect our students to jobs.

This newsletter features information about program guest speakers, and we have several student testimonials. Feel free to share the videos with students and families that can benefit from learning about our programs.

With gratitude,
null

Superintendent Alyssa Lynch
