ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

  • We want everyone who visits the Metropolitan Education District website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

    WHAT ARE WE DOING?

To help us make our website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 as we build our new websites. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user-friendly for everyone. Currently, this is ongoing progress and we are steadily working towards full compliance.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA, and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for our website.

    HOW ARE WE DOING?

We've worked hard on our website but are still working towards compliance, particularly with PDF documents. If you find any issues or need assistance to access a document in a different format than provided on the website, please get in touch.

    THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

We occasionally rely on third-party content and have no control over the accessibility of that content. Please contact us if you have trouble accessing third-party content and we will provide you with alternative versions of the content.

LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK

If you enjoyed using our website, or if you had trouble with any part of it, please get in touch. We will work with you to resolve the issue or provide information in an alternate format. You can reach us at (408) 723-6400.
