The District contributes $24,500 per year for each full-time employee to help cover the costs of medical, dental, and vision insurance. (District contribution is prorated for less than full-time employees over 50%). This is referred to as the “benefits cap.” The benefits cap is a composite where the total cost that the district contributes is the number of FTEs multiplied by $24,500.
